Just a beautiful grilled cheese burger!

Whenever I crave a flame grilled awesome burger, it’s American Burger that comes to mind and a certain dialogue from the sitcom How I Met Your Mother assails my senses. Marshall narrating - This grilled burger, it's so much more than "just a burger”. I mean that first bite oh! What heaven that first bite is. The bun, like a sesame freckled breast of an angel, resting gently on the ketchup and mustard below, flavours mingling in a seductive palette. And then...a pickle! The most playful little pickle! Then a slice of tomato, a leaf of lettuce and a patty of ground beef so exquisite, swirling in your mouth, breaking apart, and combining again in a fugue of sweets and savour so delightful. This is no mere sandwich of grilled meat and toasted bread. This is God, speaking to us in food.

If you want to have a grilled burger, and not just beef, American Burger has a whole range of juicilicious meat and sandwiches to choose from: grilled chicken, mutton and fish, egg and cheese.

Celebrating 10 successful years, the owner M A Abdul Momin told DhakaLive, “Before starting my venture, I worked in Saudi Arabia for 17 years running a grilled burger joint. The burger patties are produced in my factory ensuring zero contamination.”

There are several outlets now, after the first one opened in Gulshan-2. Since then he has opened more outlets in Banani, Dhanmondi, Uttara, Bashundhara City, Baridhara-Bashundhara, Elephant Road, Baily Road and Mirpur.

Not bad for a simple burger joint. The reason people keep coming back and why it’s lasted for so long is because they guarantee the best burger at a reasonable price. Momin proudly announced that they sell more than 250 burgers every day.
